Job Summary:

Mitsubishi Electric US is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead complex projects for research, development, and product launch efforts. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and organizational skills, with a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead interdepartmental teams to complete projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Outline project tasks and delegate accordingly.
  • Conduct cost analysis and estimate expected costs for projects.
  • Prepare and implement launch plans, outlining timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Manage project scope, identify and mitigate risks, and proactively address challenges.
  • Compile reports to management on project status and identify risks.
  • Address questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
  • Act as a liaison between departments and vendors, fostering seamless communication and transparency.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
  • Orchestrate a flawless product launch, overseeing marketing, logistics, and post-launch support.

  • A data-driven approach to decision-making, with the ability to analyze and interpret market research.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Business, or Engineering.
  • At least three years of related experience.
  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Compensation and Benefits:

The base pay range for this position is expected to be between $80,000 and $110,000 per year, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors. The total compensation package may also include other elements, including target bonus plans and discretionary awards. Eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents. Employees will also receive 80 hours of vacation per year, 56 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, depending on hire date. Employees may also take up to 12 weeks of paid or unpaid leave, if eligible.
