We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Roofing Superintendent to join our team at Northpoint Roofing Systems.

Job Summary

The Roofing Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our roofing crews, ensuring that projects are completed safely and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of roofing projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Crew Management: Supervise and manage a team of roofing crew members, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to ensure that work is being carried out to the required quality standards, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Safety Management: Ensure that all roofing crew members are aware of and comply with safety procedures and protocols, taking immediate action to address any safety concerns or incidents.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs and expectations are met.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve problems or issues that arise during projects, using initiative and judgment to find solutions that meet the needs of all parties involved.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory experience in the roofing industry, preferably with experience in home services (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, pest control, etc.).
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their best. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiar with tablets and Apple iPads (iPadOS).
  • Certifications: Knowledge of OSHA standards, building codes, laws, and regulations.
