Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at California Check Cashing Stores. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless transactions in our fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Build strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and foster a positive store experience.
- Accurately review, validate, and process customer transactions, including check cashing, money transfer, and customer payments.
- Offer personalized financial services that meet the unique needs of each customer, promoting their financial success and well-being.
- Enter and maintain accurate customer information in our Point-of-Sale (POS) system, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Contribute to new business growth by completing inbound and outbound call campaigns daily, and assist with customer account management and collections.
- Maintain a clean and secure store environment, adhering to our high standards for cleanliness and office security.
- Uphold compliance with Company policies and procedures, as well as all relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Engage in ongoing training and stay up-to-date on our evolving products and processes, ensuring continuous improvement and excellence.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively with customers and peers.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to accurately enter data.
- Proficiency in using phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Background check required (subject to applicable law).
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for up to 90% of the time and moving up to 25 pounds.
- Experience in check cashing, document verification, and/or money order processing.
- Prior cash handling, cash drawer/vault management experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus and may be required for certain locations.
