Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage the front desk operations, including vendor interactions and maintenance personnel.
  • Ensure all participants have completed the necessary fitness center waiver forms.
  • Welcome and assist guests, providing guidance on equipment usage.
  • Coordinate with instructors and contractors for athletic activities throughout the year.
  • Act as the primary liaison for equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Order and monitor inventory of supplies.
  • Establish and maintain communication with volunteer fitness instructors.
  • Create and distribute monthly schedules for fitness classes.
  • Prepare reports for leadership review.
  • Collaborate with facilities maintenance for upkeep and repairs of the fitness center.
  • Coordinate with cleaning contractors as required.
  • Ensure that fitness center goals are met, focusing on customer service and employee satisfaction.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess the following:

  • A high school diploma is required; a degree or certifications in exercise physiology or fitness training is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
  • Ability to successfully pass a government background check.
