Job Title: Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Lead

ITC Federal, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Lead to join our team in Falls Church, VA. This is an onsite position, supporting the US government.

About the Role:

The O&M Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of IT systems, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of the organization's IT infrastructure. This role supervises Tier 2 support, Security Operations (SecOps), and Monitoring teams to deliver high-quality IT services and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage Tier 2 support, SecOps, and Monitoring teams.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations for team members.
  • Ensure teams are adequately staffed and trained to meet operational demands.
  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of IT systems, ensuring uptime and performance.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for IT operations.
  • Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support.
  • Supervise the SecOps team to monitor and respond to security incidents.
  • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Oversee the monitoring of IT systems to detect and resolve issues proactively.
  • Manage incident response processes, ensuring timely resolution of IT incidents.
  • Develop and maintain incident management documentation and reports.
  • Lead IT projects related to system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
Requirements:
  • Ability to obtain a DOJ Public Trust clearance (must be obtained prior to start date).
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, security operations, and monitoring tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks.
  • Proficiency in network and system monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and incident response.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Candidate must be able to function in a general office environment. The person in this position must have the ability to lift and move IT equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
