Job Overview

Position Title: Quality Assurance Inspector

Quality Assurance Inspectors play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of products by ensuring they adhere to established quality and safety standards. This position involves conducting thorough inspections, evaluations, and assessments throughout the production process. The ideal candidate will be tasked with performing mechanical inspections to ensure that all quality requirements are met accurately. Responsibilities include the examination of raw materials, components, manufactured parts, and assemblies, as well as executing first piece inspections, incoming inspections, in-process evaluations, and final assessments.

Moreover, the role encompasses the creation of detailed inspection reports and nonconformance documentation, verifying the accuracy and compliance of records, and interpreting engineering drawings and other technical documents to produce comprehensive inspection records. The position also involves auditing quality control processes to ensure adherence to standards, collaborating with various departments, suppliers, and clients on quality-related matters, and developing inspection methodologies while training entry-level inspectors.

Work Environment

This position requires full-time on-site presence. Shifts may vary, with options for both day and evening schedules. The work environment is dynamic and team-oriented, primarily situated within cleanroom manufacturing, warehouse, and office settings. Most activities will occur in the manufacturing area, which includes various high-classification cleanroom environments. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fully-gowned high-classification cleanroom and be adaptable to frequent interruptions. Personal protective equipment is mandatory, and there may be exposure to electrical currents, moving mechanical parts, and chemicals.
