We are seeking a dedicated Roofing Inspector to conduct thorough inspections of roofs and assess storm damage on both multifamily and commercial properties, including those with steep slope roofs. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roofing and must be open to traveling extensively.
The responsibilities include:
- Identifying leaks and common roofing deficiencies, along with performing necessary repairs.
- Recognizing wind and hail damage and accurately documenting findings for reporting purposes.
- Setting up and climbing ladders safely.
- Operating manlifts, which is considered an advantage.
A background in maintenance, general repairs, and construction is preferred. A valid Driver's License is required for this position, which involves travel across various locations. Candidates should ideally reside within a reasonable distance of a major airport.
Proficiency with smartphones is essential for utilizing our roofing software effectively. This role demands an individual who is personable, fluent in English, and capable of working independently when necessary.
