The Quality Control Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and excellence of products. This position involves conducting thorough visual, dimensional, and functional evaluations of a diverse range of items in line with established internal protocols and product specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute detailed inspections utilizing various measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, microscopes, and customer-specific gauges.
  • Document and report any discrepancies to the supervisor, engaging in discussions regarding corrective measures and monitoring their effectiveness.
  • Assess product acceptability, initiate rejection notices when necessary, and maintain precise records of all inspections, including outcomes.
  • Oversee adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (G.M.P.) within the workspace, reporting any violations to the Quality Control Supervisor for necessary actions.
  • Evaluate both the product and the associated processes, making informed decisions based on subjective visual assessments, with responsibilities impacting product quality and overall productivity.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One to two years of relevant experience in Quality Control or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding English is necessary.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Critical experience with gauging instruments is mandatory, as this is a fundamental aspect of the role.
