Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Inspector II to enhance our operations. This role encompasses a blend of process auditing, quality management system (QMS) project support, and quality assurance responsibilities to ensure our products adhere to stringent quality and safety standards. The Quality Inspector II may focus on specific process areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Auditing:
    • Evaluate adherence to established procedures and standards through comprehensive audits, compiling formal reports, and communicating findings to relevant stakeholders.
    • Assess the effectiveness of final visual inspections via audits of parts and finished products.
    • Collaborate with team members to devise strategies aimed at enhancing product quality.
  • QMS Project Support:
    • Assist in the plant-wide calibration program, which includes preparing measurement tools for calibration, analyzing calibration results for out-of-tolerance conditions, and maintaining calibration documentation.
    • Support environmental monitoring within cleanroom settings.
  • Quality Assurance Activities:
    • Address action items stemming from audit findings as assigned.
    • Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions implemented in response to audit results.
    • Manage and track data from Certificates of Analysis for procured chemicals.

Qualifications:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply production instructions and standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and database management.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
Educational Requirements:
  • Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or equivalent certification.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree is preferred.
Experience Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a production environment, with a preference for cleanroom experience.
Work Environment:
  • Accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
  • Work primarily occurs in a manufacturing and/or office setting.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to exert varying degrees of force to move objects as necessary.
  • Visual acuity to perform assigned tasks effectively.
Environmental Considerations:
  • Personal protective equipment is required.
  • Exposure to potential hazards including electrical currents, moving mechanical parts, and chemicals.
Travel Requirements:
  • No overnight travel is expected.
