Position Summary: Under the guidance of the Residential Program Supervisor, the individual in this role will oversee residents in a structured treatment environment. The Case Manager will facilitate daily therapeutic activities, provide continuous support and advocacy, and implement both individual and group skill-building interventions, all while ensuring a safe and nurturing atmosphere.


Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Salary Range: $59,982 - $83,975 annually


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise residents and their activities, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.
  2. Assist residents in developing essential life skills and achieving their personal treatment goals.
  3. Monitor adherence to individualized treatment plans and program schedules.
  4. Document all services provided accurately.

Essential Duties:
  1. Provide ongoing support and guidance to residents as necessary.
  2. Transport residents to appointments and community events as required.
  3. Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes and incident reports.
  4. Assist residents with daily tasks and skill development.
  5. Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
  6. Plan and prepare meals, involving residents in the process.
  7. Ensure a clean and organized living space while engaging residents in household responsibilities.
  8. Enforce house rules and program policies consistently.
  9. Support residents in planning recreational activities.
  10. Ensure proper medication management and documentation.
  11. Participate in required meetings, training sessions, and classes.
  12. Communicate daily with staff to share insights regarding resident needs and household operations.
  13. Assist residents in maintaining sobriety plans.
  14. Administer and document breath analysis tests and other screenings.
  15. Monitor visitor logs and ensure compliance with facility protocols.
  16. Address resident policy violations with appropriate documentation.
  17. Assist in creating community service projects for residents.
  18. Conduct regular cleanliness checks of resident rooms.
  19. Provide first aid and support during medical emergencies.
  20. Maintain accurate sign-in and sign-out logs for residents.
  21. Ensure accountability for residents during facility and community activities.
  22. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Competencies:
  1. Complete necessary training in areas specific to resident needs, including safety monitoring and personal hygiene education.
  2. Demonstrate person-centered skills appropriate for the role.
  3. Implement individualized treatment plans effectively.
  4. Exhibit strong interviewing skills with residents.
  5. Understand evidence-based treatment approaches relevant to the program.

  5. Continuing Education: Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficient in relevant software for documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to learn and utilize electronic health records.
  • Familiarity with community resources and behavioral health services.
  • Exhibit professionalism in all interactions.
  • Understand cultural considerations relevant to the local population.
  • Knowledge of substance abuse treatment methodologies.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of experience in human services preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals facing substance use and mental health challenges.
  • Must obtain relevant certifications within the first three years of employment.
