Job Overview

Position Summary: Under the guidance of the Residential Program Coordinator, the individual in this role will oversee residents in a structured treatment environment. The Case Manager will facilitate daily therapeutic activities, provide continuous support and advocacy, and execute individualized and group skill-building interventions, all while ensuring a safe and nurturing atmosphere.


Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Salary Range: $59,982 - $83,975 per year


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise residents and activities to maintain a therapeutic and safe environment.
  2. Assist residents in developing essential life skills and achieving their personal treatment goals.
  3. Ensure compliance with resident-centered plans and program schedules.
  4. Document services provided accurately and timely.

Essential Duties:
  1. Provide ongoing support and guidance to residents as required.
  2. Transport residents to necessary appointments and community events.
  3. Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes and incident reports.
  4. Assign and supervise daily tasks for residents, providing instruction and assistance as needed.
  5. Deliver crisis intervention when necessary.
  6. Plan and prepare meals, involving residents in the process.
  7. Ensure a clean and organized living space while encouraging resident participation in household chores.
  8. Enforce house rules and program policies.
  9. Assist residents in planning recreational activities.
  10. Monitor medication adherence and document compliance.
  11. Participate in required meetings, training sessions, and classes.
  12. Communicate effectively with staff regarding resident issues and household operations.
  13. Support residents in following their sobriety plans.
  14. Administer and record breath analysis tests.
  15. Document visitor logs and manage resident compliance with rules.
  16. Facilitate community service projects for residents not yet employed.
  17. Conduct daily cleanliness checks of resident rooms.
  18. Provide first aid and transport residents during medical emergencies.
  19. Maintain accurate resident sign-in and sign-out logs.
  20. Ensure accountability for residents both on-site and in the community.
  21. Perform additional duties as assigned.

  1. Completion of competency-based training for direct service staff.
  2. Ability to monitor safety and model appropriate behavior.
  3. Skills in providing education and support in personal hygiene and daily living activities.
  4. Respectful engagement with residents.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of experience in human services preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals facing substance use and mental health challenges.
  • Certification in relevant fields required within three years of employment.
