Position Summary: Under the guidance of the Residential Program Coordinator, the individual in this role will oversee residents in a structured treatment environment. The Case Manager will facilitate daily therapeutic activities, provide continuous support and advocacy, and execute individualized and group skill-building interventions, all while ensuring a safe and nurturing atmosphere.
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $59,982 - $83,975 per year
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise residents and activities to maintain a therapeutic and safe environment.
- Assist residents in developing essential life skills and achieving their personal treatment goals.
- Ensure compliance with resident-centered plans and program schedules.
- Document services provided accurately and timely.
Essential Duties:
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to residents as required.
- Transport residents to necessary appointments and community events.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes and incident reports.
- Assign and supervise daily tasks for residents, providing instruction and assistance as needed.
- Deliver crisis intervention when necessary.
- Plan and prepare meals, involving residents in the process.
- Ensure a clean and organized living space while encouraging resident participation in household chores.
- Enforce house rules and program policies.
- Assist residents in planning recreational activities.
- Monitor medication adherence and document compliance.
- Participate in required meetings, training sessions, and classes.
- Communicate effectively with staff regarding resident issues and household operations.
- Support residents in following their sobriety plans.
- Administer and record breath analysis tests.
- Document visitor logs and manage resident compliance with rules.
- Facilitate community service projects for residents not yet employed.
- Conduct daily cleanliness checks of resident rooms.
- Provide first aid and transport residents during medical emergencies.
- Maintain accurate resident sign-in and sign-out logs.
- Ensure accountability for residents both on-site and in the community.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Competencies Required:
- Completion of competency-based training for direct service staff.
- Ability to monitor safety and model appropriate behavior.
- Skills in providing education and support in personal hygiene and daily living activities.
- Respectful engagement with residents.
- Implementation of individualized plans for stabilization and skill development.
- Effective interviewing skills with residents.
- Understanding of evidence-based treatment approaches.

- Familiarity with substance abuse treatment methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of experience in human services preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals facing substance use and mental health challenges.
- Certification in relevant fields required within three years of employment.
At-Will Employment Policy: Employment is at will, meaning it can be terminated by either party at any time, with or without cause.
