Maintenance and Operations (M&O) Processing Technician at Wake County Public Schools
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Maintenance and Operations (M&O) Processing Technician. This role will provide customer service and serve as the first point of contact for maintenance calls and operational issues from Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for determining appropriate priority code for work required, creating service requests/work orders, notifying proper responders, and providing accurate data in the database to document work.
In addition to providing exceptional customer service, the M&O Processing Technician will also provide office support including word processing, organizing data in spreadsheets and databases, managing a calendar, filing, mail pick-up, and providing customer service to walk-in customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work independently without close supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service and serve as the first point of contact for maintenance calls and operational issues.
- Determine appropriate priority code for work required and create service requests/work orders.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Google Apps.
- Ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year based on location and experience.
