Job Overview:
As a Piping Specialist, you will apply fundamental pipefitting techniques to assemble, surface, fabricate, repair, or replace piping systems including Steel, CUNI, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel. You should possess expertise in bending various types of pipes and operating a pipe bending machine.

Your responsibilities will include interpreting blueprints, engineering sketches, charts, or work orders, alongside knowledge of MIL-Std 22D joint design and AWS Welding Symbols.

Utilizing measuring instruments and related equipment, you will ensure accurate fitting of piping systems, whether standard or metric.
It is essential to be a 4-Year Apprentice or Trade School Graduate and to possess all necessary Pipefitting Tools.
You will also be required to sil-braze CUNI pipe using Grade III and Grade IV to meet UT standards.
Additionally, you must fit and scribe appropriate guidelines for VT/Fit Up across various pipe sizes.
Inspecting completed work for adherence to specifications is crucial.
You will provide guidance and leadership to less-experienced pipefitters and perform all tasks in compliance with established safety protocols.
Participation in special projects may be required.

Education:
A High School Diploma or GED is required.
Technical/Apprenticeship or vocational training is preferred.

Qualifications:
3+ years of relevant pipefitting experience.
Ability to obtain a DBIDS Badge for access to various facilities is necessary.
Must be a US Citizen.
Travel may be necessary.

The expected hourly rate for this position is approximately $31.86. However, this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.

Salary will be determined based on experience, geographic location, and potentially contractual requirements, and may fall outside this range.
