Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Marine Air Conditioning Technician to install, retrofit, and repair marine air conditioning and refrigeration systems on Navy ships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC theory, pipe-fitting, electrical, and mechanical layouts.

Responsibilities
  • Install and repair marine air conditioning and refrigeration systems on Navy ships, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering specifications.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed.
  • Provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting and repairing systems.
  • Document work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files and reports.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC theory, pipe-fitting, electrical, and mechanical layouts.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with customers.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally.
