Member Services Specialist II

Position Overview:

The Member Services Specialist II plays a crucial role in enhancing branch operations and driving the growth of deposits, loans, and overall service metrics. This position is dedicated to exceeding member expectations by accurately identifying their product and service requirements. The role fosters a member-centric culture that promotes the utilization of technology and collaborates effectively with various departmental partners to ensure a seamless experience for all members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service to members while supporting branch growth and compliance with credit union standards.
  • Engage with members in the lobby to provide assistance and build relationships.
  • Adhere to all credit union policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Promote a consultative sales culture among members and staff.
  • Facilitate connections between branch associates, partners, and members through technology.

Qualifications:

Education: General and business knowledge equivalent to a high school diploma.

Experience: 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in financial services or related fields.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient cash handling skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding.
  • Advanced organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with PCs and relevant software applications.

Working Conditions:
