The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Head of Business Development to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will focus on partnering with companies, building new relationships, negotiating contracts, and securing new business. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow into a VP and Director-level position, with autonomy to build the entire Business Development/Sales function and eventually lead a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute successful business development strategies to drive new business growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Negotiate contracts and secure new business
- Lead the development of the Business Development/Sales function and team
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in business development, preferably in Life Sciences, Technology, or Finance
- Consistent track record of achieving $1m+ in billings
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful business development strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented individual
