Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists in servicing the customer base by repairing and overhauling equipment, including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical and mechanical control devices, ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Conducts general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems, such as air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machines, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors in a timely manner.
  • Performs preventative maintenance by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operational deficiencies to guarantee high-quality service for our clients.
  • Supports departmental operations by processing job tickets and work orders promptly.
  • Maintains a positive attitude towards training from specialists on the job.
  • Aids in logistics by picking up and delivering equipment, as well as installing cases.
  • Operates company vehicles safely when required.
  • Completes other related duties and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of refrigeration, HVAC systems, ice machines, gas furnaces, and electrical components.
  • Capability to install cases.
  • Proficient troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to foster strong relationships with clients and management.
  • Ability to follow directions from Senior Specialists or Supervisors.
  • Clean driving record.
