Position Overview


We are seeking skilled HVAC technicians with experience in both light and heavy commercial sectors to join our dynamic team. Our focus is on working with state-of-the-art heavy commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities


Technicians must possess practical experience in commercial mechanical systems. You may be required to pass an examination to demonstrate your specialized skills. The scope of work will focus on commercial HVACR service.

Technicians may collaborate with Journeymen on the maintenance and repair of various systems, including centrifugal chillers, steam turbines, absorption machines, and ammonia systems. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting maintenance, repairs, and replacements on commercial heating and cooling systems.
  • Providing recommendations and solutions to enhance facility efficiency, including upselling opportunities.
  • Preparing quotes to support your recommendations and solutions.
Qualifications


Required:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in commercial or industrial mechanical troubleshooting within the HVAC sector.
  • Willingness to complete a 30-Hour OSHA Certification, which will be conducted after hours and on weekends, is mandatory upon hire.
  • Proficient in computer usage with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Five (5) years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC work.
  • Refrigeration Certification is preferred.
  • EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification.
Compensation and Benefits


The hourly pay range for this position is $45-$52, determined by the collective bargaining agreement/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union in alignment with a collective bargaining agreement.
