Position Overview:
This role involves providing essential support within the service group by repairing and overhauling equipment, including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical and mechanical control devices, ensuring all tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems, including air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machines, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors.
  • Perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operational deficiencies to guarantee quality service.
  • Assist the department by processing job tickets and work orders promptly.
  • Maintain a positive attitude towards on-the-job training from specialists.
  • Support logistics by picking up and delivering cases, as well as installing them.
  • Execute additional duties and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of refrigeration, HVAC systems, ice machines, gas furnaces, and electrical components.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
