About the Opportunity
USF is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Gift Planning to join its Development team. This role will play a critical part in securing legacy gifts and stewarding long-term funding relationships with key stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of identifying, cultivating, and soliciting deferred giving prospects among high net worth individuals.

The Degree Required for this Role is Bachelor's degree, although JD or Master's degree is preferred. With over five years of experience in prospect identification, relationship building, strategizing, and solicitation of planned gifts, particularly among high net worth individuals, you will be well-equipped to handle this challenging position. Your ability to articulate fundraising priorities, develop prospect leads, and pursue gift plans will be invaluable assets in this role.

About the Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and retirement savings. Responsibilities and Requirements
This role involves managing a staff of two, developing marketing strategies to identify legacy prospects, working closely with legal and financial professionals, and utilizing your expertise to discuss estate planning challenges with prospects. You will also be responsible for providing briefing materials and conducting briefings for key leaders on legacy commitments and current gifts of complex assets. As a self-starter with excellent communication skills, you will be able to work autonomously and handle multiple relationship situations simultaneously.
