Clinical Documentation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Documentation Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Documentation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient medical records. Your attention to detail and ability to analyze complex medical information will be essential in identifying and resolving documentation discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities
- Review medical records for completeness and accuracy
- Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and coders to ensure accurate and compliant medical records
- Develop and implement processes to improve documentation quality and efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, or equivalent Allied Healthcare field
- 2+ years of critical care experience in the ED or ICU, or 5 years Med/Surge in-patient nursing experience within the last 8 years
