Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Documentation Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Documentation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient medical records. Your attention to detail and ability to analyze complex medical information will be essential in identifying and resolving documentation discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review medical records for conflicting, incomplete, or non-specific documentation by providers
  • Identify clinical indicators to ensure diagnosis and procedures are clinically supported
  • Collaborate with providers and coders to ensure accurate, complete, and compliant medical records

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, or equivalent Allied Healthcare field
  • 2+ Critical Care Experience in the ED or ICU, or 5 years Med/Surge in-patient nursing experience within the last 8 years
