Clinical Denials Specialist

About the Role:
Insight Global is seeking a Clinical Denials Specialist to join our team at one of our healthcare clients in Chicago. As a Clinical Denials Specialist, you will work with the denials team to review and analyze denials from a clinical perspective. This role requires exceptional clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze denied claims
• Prepare appeals and communicate with the clinical team
• Maximize patient outcomes and optimize resource allocation
Requirements:
• 3+ years experience as a utilization review nurse
• Experience reviewing and analyzing denied claims
• Knowledge of insurance companies and policies
• Experience with EPIC and Microsoft
• Valid RN License
