Position Summary
The Automotive Sales Consultant plays a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience at our dealership. The Sales Consultant is tasked with guiding customers through their vehicle purchasing journey, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience that aligns with our commitment to outstanding customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
The following duties are essential to the role. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed:
- Welcome and assist customers entering the dealership or sales area.
- Engage with customers to help them select the right vehicle by asking insightful questions and attentively listening to their needs.
- Demonstrate a strong dedication to customer satisfaction.
- Set personal income objectives that align with dealership productivity standards and develop a plan to achieve these goals.
- Stay informed about new vehicle models, features, and accessories, along with their advantages for customers.
- Implement a follow-up system to maintain relationships with customers, encouraging repeat business and referrals.
- Exude a positive, friendly, and approachable attitude.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Supervision
Guidance will be provided by Floor Managers, Sales Managers, General Sales Manager, and General Manager.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- No prior experience is necessary.
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required; one to three months of related experience and/or training is preferred, or a suitable combination of education and experience.
Licenses and Certifications
- A valid Driver's License is required.
Additional Requirements
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
