Apple is seeking a skilled Silicon Validation Lead to join our Custom Silicon Management Group. In this role, you will be responsible for driving and leading technical engagements between Apple and silicon suppliers working on groundbreaking technologies.


About the Role


As a Silicon Validation Lead, you will own the specification and verification of sensor analog performance and many aspects of sensor interfaces. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with global sensor suppliers to develop and evaluate silicon validation plans

  • Collaborating with silicon design teams to analyze silicon architectures and corresponding validation plans

  • Own and guide the silicon validation methodology and flows across our vendors and internal partners

  • Partnering with Firmware teams and providing feedback on silicon validation desired FW features and priorities

  • Detailing and presenting results to both internal and external engineering teams

  • Working with collaborators to ensure that sufficient and accurate validation/testing is implemented at all stages to guarantee performance

  • Leading and tracking silicon validation progress and quality

  • Supporting vendor and internal ATE and Product Engineering teams


Requirements


Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS Degree and 10 years of experience

  • Experience in crafting and analysis of silicon validation plans


Key Qualifications:

  • Ability to use standard ASIC Design and validation tools

  • Understanding of modern design validation techniques in mixed signal environments

  • Multi-disciplinary understanding of EE, CE, and Physics principles

  • Ability to work closely with others in a very multi-functional team environment

  • Ability to drive, influence, and lead technical engagements

  • Ability to detail and present results across collaborators

  • Ability to define silicon validation methodologies

  • Ability to build and lead silicon validation teams


Additional Requirements


Pay and Benefits:

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $200,400 and $358,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
