Silicon Validation Specialist

Silicon Validation Engineer play a vital part in ensuring the quality and reliability of Apple's cutting-edge mobile SoC's. As an integral member of our dynamic team, you will work closely with cross-functional groups to bring up, validate, and characterize high-speed SerDes blocks. This is a highly visible role that requires a strong background in analog mixed signal IP and extensive experience with high-speed protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead efforts to bring up, validate, and characterize high-speed SerDes blocks.
- Possess hands-on experience with various high-speed SerDes architectures and associated protocols.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of crucial SerDes blocks and their characterization and debugging processes.
- Be proficient in using test and measurement equipment like high-speed oscilloscopes and BERTs.
- Understand SerDes adaptation techniques and experience analyzing SerDes signal integrity.
- Exhibit strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with data investigation and mining expertise.
- Develop robust test methodologies to evaluate performance and calculate high-speed serial interfaces operating margins across PVT variations.
Requirements:
- BSEE and 7+ years related industry experience.
- Preferred qualifications include MSEE, hands-on SerDes lab experience, and Python programming experience.
