We're looking for a skilled Silicon Validation Software Engineer to join our team at Apple. This role involves crafting and building cutting-edge technology that powers our devices.

As a member of our Silicon Technologies group, you will contribute to the design and manufacture of our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processor, system-on-chip (SoC). Your primary responsibility will be developing graphics validation software and integrating it into system-level test environments. You will collaborate closely with expert software engineers to achieve this goal.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing complex shaders that simulate heavy usage scenarios for the GPU and memory subsystems.
  • Writing detailed tests that stress the GPU pipeline and exercise interaction between the GPU and various IP blocks on the SoC.
  • Leveraging driver and firmware APIs to create efficient data movement operations within the SoC using GPU threads/SIMD groups.

Expectations:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in silicon validation software engineering or related fields.
  • Extensive knowledge of Graphics, OpenGL, and CUDA.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
  • Thorough expertise in SoC system-level validation and debugging.
