Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations while delivering a well-rehearsed sales pitch to maximize sales
  • Effectively address customer inquiries and resolve objections to close sales
  • Create a lively and enjoyable atmosphere at events, ensuring an outstanding customer experience
  • Master scripted pitches and maintain in-depth product knowledge
  • Consistently achieve sales targets that meet or exceed established goals
  • Set up, dismantle, and merchandise the demo booth/pop-up shop, adhering to ZWILLING's visual standards
  • Regularly monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs
  • Maintain open communication with management, providing valuable feedback and insights
  • Travel may be required for certain events
Qualifications:
  • Experience in direct sales or pitch-style selling is preferred
  • Background in culinary arts or food service is advantageous
  • Theatrical experience is a plus
  • Motivated to drive sales and create a memorable customer experience
  • Comfortable promoting a range of kitchen products across various brands, including cutlery, cookware, and kitchen appliances
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; outgoing and energetic demeanor
  • Strong public speaking abilities in front of live audiences
  • Reliable transportation to various event locations is required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for booth setup, breakdown, and restocking
  • Capability to stand for extended periods
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and potential overnight travel
  • U.S. citizens and authorized workers are encouraged to apply; sponsorship is not available
  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
Work Schedule and Compensation:
  • A typical roadshow schedule includes:
    • Thursday evening: booth setup (8:30 PM - 11:30 PM)
    • Sales commence the day after setup, continuing for 10 consecutive days
    • Monday-Friday: 10-11 hours per day; Saturday-Sunday: 9-10 hours per day
    • Final sales day: booth teardown
    • Part-time employees are expected to work one roadshow per month; full-time candidates should be available for two roadshows per month (with 3.5 days off between shows)
  • Compensation includes:
    • An hourly wage of $15.13, with average earnings (including travel and overtime) around $23.64 per hour
    • Incentive-based sales bonuses and commission structure
    • Reimbursement for travel time, mileage, and air travel if necessary
