Job Summary: The Clinical Microbiology Laboratory Scientist performs a variety of clinical laboratory tests, procedures and related duties, with a focus on microbiology testing procedures. This role also includes maintaining documentation, troubleshooting issues, and analyzing test results with accuracy.

Professional Growth Opportunities:

  • Lab Leadership Apprenticeship Program
  • Key Operator overseeing laboratory instruments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with completion of NAACLS accredited Medical Laboratory Scientist program, or Bachelor's Degree & one to two years of Medical Laboratory Scientist experience/training acceptable to the ASCP or AMT
  • Certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist from the ASCP or AMT within one year of hire date
  • Previous microbiology experience preferred

Work Schedule:

  • Varied Day Schedule Monday-Friday: 5:30 am - 3:30 pm
  • Rotate every 3rd Weekend & Holiday; Full Time; 80hrs/2wks

Pay: $27.50 - $41.50 per hour
