Our Specialty Additives product line provides mineral-based technologies for the Paper, Packaging, Sealants & Adhesives, Paint & Coatings, Ceramics, Plastics, Food & Pharmaceutical sectors.

Our Engineered Solutions segment presents advanced process technologies and solutions designed to enhance our clients' manufacturing processes and projects. This segment includes our High-Temperature Technologies and Environmental & Infrastructure product lines. The High-Temperature Technologies product line offers specially formulated blends and technologies primarily for the Foundry and Steelmaking industries. Our Environmental & Infrastructure product line delivers waterproofing, water purification, remediation, and other fluid management technologies for critical projects.

Position: Oracle Applications Analyst

Location: North America

We have an exciting opportunity for an Oracle Applications Analyst. The Oracle Applications Analyst will be primarily accountable for supporting the daily operations of Oracle E-Business Suite systems, including Financials, Procurement, Manufacturing, Order Management, Shipping, and Projects, while collaborating effectively with functional and development teams.

Responsibilities

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for all standard and custom modules within the current ERP System
  • Collaborate with System Analysts in the implementation of Oracle ERP for new plants and business units as required
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and resolve complex issues in support of production environments, including integration and CEMLIs
  • Support various applications such as Oracle E-Business Suite (R12), OCI, OAC, Oracle CRM on demand, SOA, Vertex, etc.
  • Develop reports utilizing Oracle Analytics Cloud
  • Create custom packages and procedures using SQL / PLSQL
  • Design custom integration scripts using Python / Perl
  • Utilize Oracle Data Integrator to build ETL for Data Warehouse projects
Operational Excellence
  • Actively engage in the implementation of sustainable improvement processes, including 5S, Kaizen, Daily Management Control, Standard Work, and Problem Solving.
Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

Education: BS or BA degree in computer science or a related field is required.

Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior Oracle Application Developer or 4+ years as an Oracle database administrator supporting Oracle EBS (R12).
  • Experience in a controlled environment such as OCI and SOX compliant settings for public US firms.
  • Proficient functional knowledge of Oracle EBS Suite products - Financial and/or SCM.
  • Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and UNIX shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with ETLs and basic knowledge of Oracle reports and formats.
  • Understanding of the Oracle Applications Technology Stack, database architecture, schemas/products, and database objects.
  • Experience upgrading from Oracle Cloud SOA to OIC.
  • Knowledgeable about Cloud PaaS and Oracle Analytics Cloud.

  • Effective communication skills across various channels (verbal, written, etc.) with both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Working Conditions:
  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee typically works in a controlled office environment, moving around as necessary, sitting at a desk, and using office equipment such as personal computers, fax machines, copiers, and telephones.
  • Regular interaction with individuals both internal and external to the organization at all levels occurs through various communication methods, including face-to-face discussions, electronic mail, phone calls, and written correspondence.
  • Must be able to work the required shift/hours necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
