Our client, a Leading Global Medical Device Manufacturer, is seeking a Materials Coordinator for a long-term contract opportunity. This role is designed for individuals who are results-oriented and wish to contribute meaningfully in a collaborative and professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the organization’s warehouse operations, including the processing, packaging, and storage of medical device products.
  • Supervise the receipt, storage, and distribution of medical device inventory.
  • Coordinate and prepare schedules for the shipping and receiving of medical device products through various shipping methods.
  • Ensure the efficiency of operational procedures, optimize space utilization, and maintain the upkeep and protection of facilities and equipment.

Principal Duties

  • Assist in conducting cycle counts of inventory across the designated area.
  • Support the review of incoming equipment requests within the CRM and process them in the ERP system.
  • Conduct inventory checks, replenishment, and inspections of incoming surgical sets to ensure readiness for redistribution.
  • Execute ERP transactions for surgical set movements to uphold proper planning and traceability of inventory.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including Field Operations, Inventory Management, Commercial Operations, Sales Representatives, and Sales Managers, to enhance supply chain optimization.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities; adept at multitasking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds may be necessary.
  • Familiarity with the medical device sector and hospital clientele is preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle JDE, WebOps, SAP, and Salesforce is advantageous.
  • Availability for on-call support during nights and weekends when necessary.
