Position Summary:

The Logistics and Inventory Specialist plays a crucial role in managing the flow of goods within our operations. This position is responsible for the accurate receipt and distribution of inventory, ensuring that all materials are processed efficiently and effectively. The Specialist will also oversee the packaging and dispatch of products to our valued customers, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments to verify accuracy against purchase orders.
  • Utilize the company's inventory management system to track and record the receipt and issuance of materials.
  • Organize and store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse.
  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to facilitate the movement of goods.
  • Assist in the return process for damaged or incorrect items, coordinating with vendors as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to support a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of six months of experience in a logistics or inventory role.
  • Familiarity with inventory control software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment:

This position is based in a climate-controlled warehouse setting, where safety and adherence to company policies are paramount. Employees may be required to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Physical Requirements:

Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands for handling materials. Vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
