Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Account Specialist to join our team at IVX Health. As a Patient Account Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, centers, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming calls from patients and internal departments to process credit cards, payment plans, and troubleshoot patient questions/complaints.
  • Work closely with front office, insurance follow-up, and prior authorization teams to maximize reimbursement.
  • Assist with identifying copay programs, grants, and funds that can help alleviate patient responsibility.
  • Have a vast understanding of the claim life cycle and patient responsibility after insurance.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of clerical/administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare/medical setting.
  • Proficiency with standard office software applications (Outlook, Microsoft Office).
  • Familiarity with Navi-Net and Availity, as well as payer portals.
