The IT Support Technician will be responsible for addressing intricate technical challenges within the organization. The primary objective is to deliver exceptional technical assistance to guarantee user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Service Desk for incoming tickets and respond to technical support inquiries utilizing various tools and methodologies to resolve issues.
  • Record procedures and troubleshooting steps for applications as required.
  • Collaborate with IT Operations and application support teams to diagnose and document problems.
  • Engage with internal users and fellow Helpdesk Technicians regarding case updates, prioritization, and resolution strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks within designated timelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective teamwork skills and the ability to interact with all employee levels.
Basic Requirements:
  • Familiarity with contemporary software technologies and tools.
  • Proficient understanding of help desk software and remote support applications.
  • Technical degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in application support.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or Technical Call Center is advantageous.
Supervisory Role:
This position does not entail any supervisory duties.

Work Environment:
This role is conducted in a professional office setting utilizing standard office equipment.

Physical Requirements/ADA Compliance:
No unusual physical demands; the majority of work is performed indoors.

Position Type/Expected Work Hours:
This is a full-time role with standard working hours, with the potential for part-time opportunities.
