Job Summary

Producers Dairy Foods, a leading dairy products supplier and distributor, is seeking a dedicated Route Sales Representative, Class B, to join our team in Hayward, CA. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for safely transporting our products to valued customers in a timely and cost-efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate a commercial truck to transport a variety of Producers dairy products to customers.
  • Customer Service: Maintain effective communication with Producers personnel and customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip vehicle inspections and adjustments, as well as minor on-road repairs as needed.
  • Route Management: Complete daily route deliveries, required paperwork, settlement of routes, and inventory management.
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely and efficiently load and unload product onto and off of the vehicle.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • At least two years of commercial driving experience is required.
  • A valid, nonrestrictive Commercial Driver license (Class A or B) and a clean DMV record are required.
  • Excellent time management skills, verbal and written communication skills, and emotional intelligence are essential.
