About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sterile Processing Supervisor to join our team at Providence St. Peter Hospital. As a key member of our Sterile Processing Department, you will be responsible for providing supervision and problem-solving to staff, as well as managing day-to-day processes, supplies, and quality improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise regular, on-call, and float staff to ensure the highest quality of services is delivered.
  • Negotiate and manage supply resources in conjunction with PSPH Purchasing.
  • Oversee information systems necessary for SP functioning in conjunction with Information Services.
  • Evaluate and assure new technology.
  • Be active clinically as well as manage the processes.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Central Supply Technician (or surgical technology) accredited course.
  • National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association upon hire.
  • 5 years Sterile Processing experience in an acute hospital setting.
  • 2 years Lead experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CHL Certification, Certification in Healthcare Leadership upon hire.
  • Experience in staff training and education.
