Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of robust experience in sterile processing, particularly in orthopedic and spinal procedures. This role requires a subject matter expert who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform decontamination and assembly of surgical instruments.
- Handle a variety of sets, ensuring proper inspection, cleaning, sorting, and wrapping.
- Demonstrate proficiency with essential instruments and soft goods used in surgical settings.
- Utilize charting systems such as CensiTrac and EPIC effectively.
Qualifications:
- Current BLS certification.
- Certification as CRCST or CBSPD.
- Strong knowledge of decontamination processes and assembly techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure.
Work Schedule:
- Day, evening, and morning shifts available.
