Key Responsibilities- Actively monitor the gaming floor to ensure all areas are adequately staffed with skilled personnel.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, state gaming regulations, and federal laws through diligent observation of gaming operations.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration across all shifts and departments.
- Provide constructive feedback to management regarding the development and evaluation of departmental policies and procedures.
- Enforce adherence to state and departmental policies among team members in your designated area.
- Verify and authorize jackpot payouts.
- Address any unethical behavior from guests or employees.
- Grant and manage complimentary privileges for guests.
- Foster positive working relationships with team members, peers, and executives.
- Coordinate all operational functions during your shift.
- Resolve complaints from guests and staff effectively.
- Serve as a customer relations representative and host for the casino.
- Keep the General Manager informed of all relevant developments.
- Report any discrepancies, suspected fraud, or unethical play to surveillance and internal audit teams.
- Assist with management functions as required.
- Support other departments as needed.
- Embrace teamwork and collaboration.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a casino environment with a strong focus on Table Games and Slot Operations.
- Proven management and leadership abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow multi-step instructions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Familiarity with State Gaming Regulations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a state gaming license.
