Job Title: Hotel Front Office Supervisor

At Magnolia Bluffs Casino, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Front Office Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising front desk agents, scheduling staff, and ensuring excellent guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and develop front office personnel
  • Participate in the selection and hiring process
  • Schedule front office staff
  • Supervise workload during shifts
  • Evaluate job performance
  • Maintain working relationships with all departments
  • Manage master key control
  • Verify accurate room status information
  • Resolve guest problems efficiently
  • Update group information and maintain records
  • Work within allocated budget
  • Enforce cash-handling and credit policies
  • Conduct regular meetings with front office staff
  • Uphold hotel's commitment to hospitality
  • Prepare performance reports
  • Maximize room revenue and occupancy
  • Monitor high balance guests
  • Ensure implementation of hotel policies and house rules
  • Operate front office computer system
  • Prepare revenue and occupancy forecasting
  • Ensure timely delivery of messages, packages, and mail
  • Monitor VIP guests and requests
  • Maintain front office supplies
  • Review front office logbook and guest feedback
  • Respond to GMS surveys and guest reviews
  • Responsible for Hotel Marketplace inventory control

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years prior experience in guest service
  • 1 year supervisory experience
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedule
  • Basic math skills and cash handling
  • Computer experience with Microsoft Office and email
  • Point of sale system experience preferred
