As a Registered Nurse at Merit Health Natchez, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care.


Key Responsibilities:
Assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and provide care based on identified needs and physician orders according to standards, policy, and procedure.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.

Develop and implement patient education plans to promote health and wellness.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure understanding and cooperation.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Work collaboratively with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient care.

Responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.

Collaborate with the charge nurse, clinical supervisor, unit director, and CNO to ensure effective unit operations.

Must be able to communicate verbally, in writing, and utilize the EMR.

Provide expertise to staff by assessing the quality and quantity of care and evaluating and intervening in the management of care problems, as necessary.

Oversee unit operations in the absence of the Director or CNO and collaborate with them on an as-needed basis.

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

3x12s, varying days.


Requirements:
MS RN license
Associate degree in Nursing, Bachelor's preferred
BLS certification, ACLS preferred
New Grads welcome
