Job Overview

Cypress Engine Accessories LLC, a dynamic player in the Industrial Engine Instrumentation, Controls, and Service sector, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operator to support our operations.

The Warehouse Operator plays a crucial role in the daily functions of the warehouse, which includes responsibilities such as shipping and receiving, inventory management, organization, and order fulfillment, as directed by the supervisor or Facility Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operators are tasked with various functions related to the receipt and processing of incoming products and materials. Their duties may encompass packing and shipping orders, as well as managing, organizing, and retrieving stock. They are also responsible for ensuring a clean and safe working environment, maintaining cleanliness in shelves, workstations, and pallet areas, while adhering to all cleanliness and safety regulations. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Facility Manager and Outside Sales Representative.
  • Leading Shipping/Receiving operations (Lifting required), which includes unloading trucks, verifying merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing orders for processing.
  • Recording and verifying the quantity and quality of received goods.
  • Monitoring daily pickups and deliveries; ensuring timely and safe arrival of loads.
  • Conducting local deliveries and/or pickups.
  • Interpreting customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped.
  • Maintaining an orderly, accessible, and safe warehouse environment for employees, vendors, and customers.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment, and storage areas to meet safety standards.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full Time, Hourly

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00am - 5:00pm

Physical and Mental Requirements:

This role involves handling merchandise, supplies, and materials, making it physically demanding. Physical functions include:

  • Lifting up to 70 lbs. without assistance.
  • Bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and performing repetitive movements.
  • Climbing step ladders.
  • Standing or walking for extended periods.
  • Moving large quantities of merchandise using carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment.
  • Working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and conditions.

Operating Equipment: Only operating equipment for which training and certification have been obtained.

Valid U.S. Driver's License with an acceptable driving record is required.
