The Warehouse Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in managing the storage, handling, and distribution of products within our facility. This position requires a motivated individual who can operate efficiently and ensure that all warehouse functions are performed safely and effectively. The ideal candidate will exhibit a sense of urgency, meticulous attention to detail, and a positive demeanor in all tasks undertaken.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage shipping and receiving processes for the warehouse, including the loading and unloading of materials.
  • Receive deliveries - verify and sign delivery documents, assisting with unloading as needed.
  • Examine all incoming products against packing lists, reporting any discrepancies or damages.
  • Prepare packing lists and labels for outgoing shipments.
  • Handle shipments and inventory transfers within the inventory management system.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts as directed.
  • Utilize equipment such as dollies and pallet jacks to load, unload, transport, and store materials.
  • Maintain the storage area, organizing and shelving stock appropriately.
  • Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping tasks within the warehouse.
  • Engage with customers, both internal and external, in a professional manner.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in mandatory training programs.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; or one year of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or similar setting is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with warehouse management systems, are advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers in a professional manner.
  • Capacity to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Successfully complete the Work Steps assessment.
