Patient Services Coordinator Job Description

Penn Medicine is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing medical research. As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient experiences and supporting the delivery of high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in maintaining a patient-focused environment and support the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Oversee daily operations and schedules, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain APM templates and master schedules, and run regular financial reports to monitor performance.
  • Resolve work queues and issues from front-end reports, and prioritize recovery of missing charges.
  • Act as a liaison between staff and management to ensure daily performance expectations are communicated and met.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced degree may be considered in lieu of experience.
  • At least 3 years of medical office experience required.
