Job Opportunity at Healthcare Legal Solutions LLC

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced attorney to join our team at Healthcare Legal Solutions LLC. As a healthcare attorney, you will play a crucial role in managing corporate health claims and providing denial management, consulting, and corporate collections services to hospitals and health systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review medical records and submit well-written appeals to health insurers and governmental payers.
  • Maintain an expert understanding of Commercial, Governmental, Managed Care, and ERISA regulations regarding payment, coverage, conditions of participation, and other relevant topics.
  • Assist the legal appeals team in developing new and innovative legal and procedural arguments and tools.
  • Oversee the drafting of complex contractual appeals and administrative templates for organizational use.
  • Perform administrative duties or projects as assigned by leadership.

Requirements:

  • Law school GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Must have 3+ years of experience as an attorney.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, with the ability to quickly learn and operate new computer programs and software.
  • Highly attentive to detail and able to handle large amounts of paperwork for a busy office.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Clear, concise, and logical writing style.
  • Able to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic working knowledge of medical terminology and diagnostic procedures.
  • Previous coursework and/or work experience in biological sciences or healthcare.

This is an excellent opportunity for retired and experienced attorneys due to the part-time flexible schedule. Starting at $60-75/hour depending on experience and credentials.
