Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and knowledgeable Commercial Account Manager to join our team. This role presents an excellent opportunity to work with a motivated and results-driven group. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our commercial insurance clients' needs. This position requires an individual who excels in a fast-paced environment, efficiently manages multiple responsibilities, and demonstrates outstanding customer service capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee a portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring that all client expectations are not only met but surpassed
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, gaining insights into their insurance requirements and business operations
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients
- Assess current insurance coverage for clients, providing recommendations for improvements
- Lead the renewal process for all assigned accounts, preparing proposals and negotiating terms with insurance carriers
- Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Work in partnership with underwriters and adjusters to manage claims and risk management issues
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and products to provide clients with the best possible advice and support

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Commercial Account Manager role, candidates should possess:

- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance and account management
- A proven history of delivering exceptional customer service
- A solid understanding of commercial insurance products and risk management strategies
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal capabilities
- Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite
- An insurance designation such as CIC, CRM, or CPCU is advantageous
