Position Overview
We are seeking experienced engineers to become integral members of our testing and validation team, focusing on low voltage systems.

Key Responsibilities
Your role will involve collaboration with various teams within the program to guarantee that our hardware adheres to the highest standards of performance and reliability.

As a validation engineer, you will be among the initial users of newly developed products, serving as the primary expert in validation processes.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Developing comprehensive life cycle validation plans for low voltage electronic systems utilized in our product line.
  • Identifying critical engineering inquiries and leading experimental designs aimed at enhancing the understanding, characterization, quality, and reliability of electronic products.
  • Creating custom infrastructure, including PCBs, firmware, and software tools, for product validation and production, featuring sensors, power conversion, telemetry, and data processing capabilities.
  • Establishing and maintaining automated testing hardware and software to optimize execution, data collection, and analysis.
  • Leading cross-functional initiatives among engineers, project managers, and suppliers regarding failure analysis, root cause analysis, and recommendations for addressing identified failure modes throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications
A degree in Computer, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience is required. Candidates should possess:

  • 4-7 years of experience in low voltage electronics design and validation, with comprehensive visibility from initial testing to post-production.
  • Proven expertise in electrical design and analysis using tools such as Altium, Cadence, or Ansys AEDT.
  • A solid understanding of engineering principles and experience with standard laboratory equipment (e.g., power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters).
  • Familiarity with Linux systems and scripting languages such as Python and Bash for test automation and data processing.
  • A genuine curiosity for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, along with a hands-on approach to understanding system interactions and automating repetitive tasks.

The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 - $300,000 annually, complemented by cash and stock awards, along with a variety of benefits.
