Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team and drive the success of our restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring that every dish that leaves our kitchen meets our high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily kitchen operations, including planning, organizing, and scheduling staff
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality
  • Lead and motivate kitchen staff to achieve exceptional service and culinary standards
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and waste
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with the culinary director and management team to drive business growth and development
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant
  • Proven track record of success in kitchen management, staff development, and menu planning
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Knowledge of national and international restaurants and bars of similar standing
  • Ability to lead by example, with care and empathy, and be confident in their craft
