Job Overview:

The Client Relations Assistant at Tufts Veterinary Field Service is an integral member of our practice, dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service and administrative assistance. This position is essential for the smooth operation of our veterinary services, particularly in the realm of livestock care, including cattle, sheep, and goats.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee appointment scheduling for a diverse ambulatory veterinary practice
  • Deliver exceptional client service by managing appointment bookings and responding to inquiries
  • Organize veterinarians' clinical schedules and maintain accurate medical records
  • Assist with administrative tasks and address client requests effectively
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient practice operations
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED with 2-4 years of relevant administrative experience in animal agriculture or veterinary settings
  • Knowledge of veterinary terminology and familiarity with the geographical area served
  • Strong computer skills and possession of a valid U.S. Driver's License

Preferred Skills:

  • An AA/AS degree in Animal Science or Veterinary Technology is advantageous
  • Experience working with various livestock species and excellent communication abilities
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • A motivated, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented approach to work

Compensation:

The pay range for this position is a minimum of $22.10, a midpoint of $26.30, and a maximum of $30.50, commensurate with experience and expertise.
