Sous Chef Lead

About the Job Description
">This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including managing staff, controlling costs, and maintaining high-quality food standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in food service management, with 1+ year of leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain all kitchen functions, including purchasing, storage, inventory, and preparation of food products.
- Train team members on methods of cooking, preparation, plate presentation, portion control, food waste, and efficiencies.
- Work closely with the Front of House team to ensure a seamless flow of service, address guest feedback, and assist with opening and closing duties.
- Control labor costs by assisting in scheduling based upon forecasted sales, positions needed, and proper time management.
- Provide leadership and instruction pertaining to Snooze basic safety and sanitation procedures and guidelines.
- Support with opening and closing procedures of the Front of House and Heart of House following Snooze's Open to Close guidelines.
Requirements:
- 21 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
- Knowledge of food, beverage, and safety generally involving at least 2+ years of operations experience and 1+ year of leadership experience.
- Excellent basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register and Point of Sale system.
