As part of a significant technological transformation, Citibank is modernizing its core accounting and servicing systems for its global lending operations. This initiative includes transitioning to the Loan IQ platform while phasing out existing product processors. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of core accounting processes and the configuration capabilities inherent to the Loan IQ platform, while also considering the diverse needs of Citibank's business units.
Success in this role requires strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively influence internal stakeholders in the implementation of viable solutions. A keen attention to detail, coupled with the ability to achieve broader objectives, is essential. The individual will oversee various activities related to Loan IQ support, enhancements, analysis, configuration, migration, and testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the integration of Loan IQ Finance and Treasury functions, collaborating with senior management to align with business objectives and facilitate the introduction of new products and process improvements.
- Analyze and resolve high-stakes issues that significantly impact the business by thoroughly evaluating complex business and system processes, as well as industry benchmarks.
- Engage with senior leaders across various functions and communicate with external stakeholders as required.
- Provide technical guidance and strategic insights throughout all phases of development and implementation, delivering sophisticated analyses to identify challenges and craft innovative solutions.
- Oversee resource allocation, mentor team members, and manage other assigned responsibilities.
- Assess risks associated with business decisions, ensuring compliance with regulations and safeguarding the firm's reputation and assets.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Over 10 years of experience with the Loan IQ platform, particularly in accounting functions within a financial services context.
- Skills: In-depth understanding of the loans domain, comprehensive experience with the Software Development Life Cycle, and proven skills in management and prioritization.
- Communication: Proficient in conveying information clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally.
- Ability: Capable of thriving under pressure, managing multiple tasks, and fostering productive working relationships with meticulous attention to detail.
- Motivation: Driven to take initiative and rapidly acquire new skills.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
